Get to Know Lewisville’s Auto Scientists

Ryan Davis opened Auto Science in February of 2011, to provide Lewisville with a different—better—type of auto repair experience. At the time, the economy was down, and having worked at auto repair shops and dealerships while in college, he knew the auto repair business. So, he spent two years saving money, working on cars and reselling them until he had enough to rent our first garage. After only four months, he was busy enough to hire his first employee, and now our wholly-independent auto repair shop has grown to four employees and 10 bays.

How We’re Different than Other Lewisville Auto Repair Shops

Our shop is proudly different than other auto repair shops. We have our own in-house machine shop, tow service and loaner cars. Also, we are a family owned company, so the business is personal, and customers often speak to Ryan in the shop. We want our customers to trust our work and to depend on us to do the job right, so we strive to do auto repairs right the first time without mistakes or misdiagnoses.

Meet Our Auto Repair & Service Team

Ryan DavisOwner & Technician
Ryan is an ASE-certified automotive technician with 12 years of auto repair experience and a bachelor’s degree in business. After graduating from college in 2008, he put his education in physics and business to use by saving money and formulating a business plan to open his own auto repair shop. From a young age, he was always interested in mechanics thanks to his father, and he began fixing the family’s cars and building remote control cars, go-carts, and off-road vehicles in his teens. Combining his business education and passion for auto mechanics, Ryan runs Auto Science as both a businessman and a technician.
Steve HigginsTechnician
Steve is a fantastic technician, well-versed in diagnostics and able to figure out tough problems other mechanics can’t. He is quiet, and you may never meet him, but you will be hard-pressed to find a better technician in the Lewisville area.

Brian RobertsTechnician
Brian has been with us the longest and is a methodical technician. He is an army veteran and is enrolled in college (University of Texas at Arlington) for mechanical engineering. Always punctual and steady, you can depend on Brian to get the job done right.
